Defining neoliberalism as the practice of using the free market
as the assignation of all value, I believe it would be a fair
characterisation to pinpoint some of its key traits as:
- A fixation on quantification and
measurement.
- The belief that all aspects of
society are best handled on a for-profit basis through
competition.
- A nominal insistence on
transparency, accountability and openness, so that point 1
can best be achieved.
