On the Way to Michigan

Just a few picture between here and there.

Traverce City: We read about Traverse City the newspaper so we decided to go.

Frank Loyd Wright Houses: Neither of us had been to Fallingwater so that was our first destination. We stayed in a campsite at Ohiopyle State Park and visited both Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. We stopped to visit Bill Kraus and Megan on our way to our next stop Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park: Yes there is a national park in Ohio. It's not what you think about when you think about national parks but it was OK. The Cuyahoga River, near Cleveland, caught fire in 1970.

Ann Arbor: We spent the night in Ann Arbor in an apartment downtown. Of course when you are in Michigan there was a car show around the corner.

Traverse City Area: We spent several days in the Traverse City area visiting farm stands and wineries. We beat it back home after leaving the area making it home in a day and a half
