Gave Away the Miata Today
It's the end of my convertible days (at least for the near future)! I gave away the Miata today.
I'm a little bit sad but not much because I wasn't taking care of it. It was a 2001 model and I've had it since 2002. It has been sitting in the garage for three years and there was really not much wrong with it (except maybe the guy who owned it). I kept saying I was going to do something about it but I hadn't.
I gave it to a fellow who works at the garage where we get the BMW serviced. He is young (maybe 23) and pumps gas and is always polite and friendly. Charlie, the manager of the garage, is going to help him figure out what the car needs and I suspect will help him get it done.. It's pretty nice that you get an old car but work at a garage to get help fixing it up.
I gave it to him and told him to put his money into the car. It will be good for the old Miata, long may you run!
