  • Why do we need to put courses and programs online?

    Everyone else is doing it - we'll be left behind if we don't - that where the learners are - 1/4 of all learners are taking an online course

  • Should the content be open and reusable?

    Get content out of BlackBoard where it is trapped in a class - open content is usable to all learners - open content can be shared with others creating learning environments - shared content will allow faster, richer learning environments - open content can be linked to by others

  • Best way to author content

    I'm a believer that content should be written for the web - use HTML5, abolish Word - can the faculty create video and audio themselves? - can faculty create interactive media?

  • Assessment

    If we have competency based outcomes can we use technology to help assessment - can we use technology to provide adaptive learning objects?

  • Faculty beliefs and attitudes are seen as a critical component in building and maintaining quality programs.
