Our ultimate goal is to create an environment that facilitates end-users in seeing meaningful connections among individual items (stories, photos, graphics, videos) through underlying knowledge of the descriptions of the items, their relationships and related background knowledge. This requires semantic metadata models to improve metadata interoperability along the entire production chain.
