New Macbook Air and iPad Mini

My computer was only three years old but the keyboard was going bad. It still worked but the right hand key were losing their spring and the old iPad (2019) was no longer able to update.

I also bought an iPad mini. They gave me $100 trade-in on my old iPad and $500 on my old Macbook.

I tried to use Migration Assistant in setting up the new machine but the old machine had 1Tb of storage and the new on only had 500Gb which caused all kinds of problems. I managed to get the files transferred using the old machine in disc mode.

I pretty happy with the new machine but it is not anything mind blowing. We'll see how this progresses.

Tires for the BMW

We got 4 205/SSR16 Continental TrueContact Tour standard all-season radials, ($841.18) at 145.055 miles.. With 70,000 mile tread rating it may be the last tires this car sees.

ATT Phone Plan

I changed from the Unlimited Elite Plan for $86 a month to the 15GB Prepaid Plan for $43 a month. This will definitely work while at home and could work on the road because it has rollover data. We'll see.

Update

You can never talk to people but I updated my plan to a Family Plan so that we could get one bill instead of two. It seemed to work but the credit card still showed two charges. Also it cost $29.33 for the change.

Corby's Macbook Air

Corby's computer was getting old and no longer being updated. Because it wasn't being updated it was different then mine and so I had to think harder when she had a question.

iPhone 13 Mini

We upgraded our phones today. We upgraded in 2017, 2020, and now 2023.

We got the 13 Mini (which is a year old) because Apple is no longer making the smaller phone. We both like the smaller form factor but I think with the increase in resolution it is still as easy to read.

Macbook Air

Macbook Air M1 2020 - MGQN3LL/A - A2337

My old computer was runing fine it's just that it is now 6 years old and no longer being supported for new operating updates. We'll see how this new machine does.

Mustang

Celestron Spotting Scope

This is a compromise but I hope it works out OK. Small for the van but better than binocs alone. We'll see.
