Assume a used rig purchased for $80,000 with 20,000 miles, an expected lifetime of 150,000 miles, a salvage value of $4,000, and annual maintenance costs of $1,700 over 15 years. That comes to a capital cost of $0.78/mile. Assuming 15 mpg gives fuel costs of $0.18/mile, for a total operating cost of $0.96/mile.

Andy's Coach Works

Took the van to Andy's Auto Coach Works 83 Danbury Rd New Milford,CT06776 Sales: (860) 355-3761 on Friday the 19th. Called on Wednesday of the next week and he said he needed a $600 part. I told him to order it.

Call Wednesday May 1st and he said he was still waiting for the part. We'll see..

Generator Manual

Before the September Trip

The generator would not run but today I found a tripped breaker which I think was the problem.

I also extended the awning just to see what kind of shape it was in and it looked pretty good (not as bad as I thought) but when I put it back it appeared to have change position (riding higher). I looked it over and over but I could not find any problem so it must be my imagination. Here is a link to the product information.

RV Notes

The van had about 25,000 on it when we bought at Christmas 2019. It had 25,683 miles on it on 2020-01-10 when I got it inspected to get licensed in CT.
